Description:
Into Now is a Yahoo app that works like Shazam for TV. Once you turn the TV on, you simply launch the app and have it “listen” to the show. It then will provide you with the name of the show as well as the cast, and Genre. Additional items are listed if the information is available. If you login into the app be aware that the app shares your results into your network.
Pros:
If you are into channel surfing and then run into a show or movie that you are interested to know more about, then this app is for you. We found that at times we run into actors that we recognize but can’t name, this app is a good tool as well.
Cons:
At times limited information about the show you are watching, and some movies do not get recognized by the app. The lack of available tools to stop the sharing of what you just searched on, can be a turn off for many users.
Bottom Line:
Get it! This is a fun app to have both on the iPad or the iPhone if you do a lot of channel surfing or run into a show with an actor/actress that you recognize but can’t name; the app helps identify them for you.
