Canyon Country National Parks is an iPad app developed by state of Utah. It provides you with a list of national parks as well as information, pictures and interesting facts about the locations. They provide the GPS location, elevation, fun facts about the parks and even points of interest to visits and “Picture” opportunities.
Pros:
If you love the national parks and are into hiking and camping this is a great app. They provide you with a great list of places to visit as well as simply a place to go and take a picture as your go exploring.
Cons:
The app is limited to Utah, northern Arizona and small part of Nevada. Providing directions or a link to a map app would have made a great addition.
Bottom Line:
Get it! – This app provides you with many great national parks in Utah area. What makes this a very useful app is the list of places that you can stop and simply take a picture, the additional information about the locations and the interesting facts make this a great app.
