Are you trying to go green?  Reduce your carbon footprint?  Or simply make the trip from the mailbox less of a hassle?  Then this App is for you!  PaperKarma is a new Mobile App that promises to reduce your junk mail. You simply launch the app and take a picture of the junk mail.  They will do the rest; they will inform you of the process and show the junk mail item as pending until they have successfully taken you off the list.  This works very similarly to the “unsubscribe” option of your email newsletters you receive.  We tested this app with credit card applications as well as several coupon booklets and found that it worked great.

Pros:

If you are constantly getting junk mail that you have no desire to receive this is a great and easy way of unsubscribing from them.  In addition, as there are more financial crimes happening, it is a good idea to use this app and opt out of credit card applications.

Cons:

If you use junk mail to make art, or you actually enjoy getting such mail then this is not a useful app for you.

Bottom Line:

Get it!  This is a great that helps reduce junk mail and reduces your carbon footprint.
